We are a family owned aquatic shop and have been established for over 44 years. We are known for our personal and friendly service. In our shop we have more than 160 aquariums and ponds teeming with excellent quality fish.
Fish Scraping
We are qualified to scrape your fishes skin to gain a specimen to look at under our microscope to see exaclty what infection or parasite your fish have. Then we are able to treat for that disease exactly.
Live Food
We have a delivery every week of fresh live food. This includes brineshrimp, baby brineshrimp, mysis, copepods, daphnia, bloodworm, chunky bloodworm and river shrimp.
In-Shop Water Testing
We offer a comprehensive water testing service for aquariums and ponds. It's not just a dip test we carry out each test individually. These include ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, KH, GH, phosphate, iron, magnesium, calcium, TDS and salt levels. We print out the results for you to take home with recommendations of how to improve your water quality.There is a small charge for this £2 for tropical and pond tests £3 for Marine tests.
RO + Salty Water
We sell Reverse Osmosis Water for you aquarium. This is purified water that has no Chlorine, heavy metals and is softened. We sell this water either Fresh ro 15p a litre -£3.75 per 25 litre jerrican or Salted sg 1.025 for marine aquariums £6.50 per 25 litre jerrican.

Marine Fish
All of our marine stock is hand picked from Tropical Marine Centre ensuring only the healthiest of fish are stocked. If you are thinking of setting up a marine tank and would like some advice just pop in we can teach you all you need to know on how keep a beautiful marine aquarium successfully.
Tropical Fish
We order our tropical fish direct from Singapore, Thailand, Maylasia, Indonesia etc and collect them direct from the airport, no extra handling. We also import fish direct from Czech Republic these are deliverd via a heated van. Lots of these fish are tank bred. We can order any fish that you would like. Some fish are seasonal. Our range of fish includes community fish, Lake Malawi and Tanganika cichlids, South Amercian cichlids and fancy goldfish. We have a fresh delivery of tropical plants from Holland every week.
Pond Fish
We have a whole building dedicated to pond fish. Where possible we try to stock British bred fish as these are used to our climate. The stock includes goldfish, shubunkins, sarassa comet, yellow comets, gold and blue orfe, gold and green tench, koi carp, Japenese koi carp, ghost mirror and crucian carp, sturgeon and sterlet and barbel. We also have lots of pond plants.
